Candle & Product Care
Candle & Product Care
A little care goes a long way toward getting the best scent throw and the longest life out of every Grand Candles product. Here's how to use and care for each format.
Candles
Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before every lighting. On the first burn, let the wax melt fully across the top of the jar — this helps prevent tunneling later on. Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time, and always place your candle on a heat-safe surface away from drafts, children, pets, and anything flammable.
Reed Diffusers
Place the reeds into the diffuser bottle and let the fragrance absorb and disperse naturally. Flip the reeds carefully whenever you want to refresh or strengthen the scent throw — flipping more often increases fragrance strength, while flipping less often helps the diffuser last longer. Reed diffusers are designed to last approximately 2–4 months depending on room size, airflow, temperature, and how often the reeds are flipped or replaced. Keep away from children, pets, finished surfaces, fabrics, direct sunlight, and heat sources.
Room & Linen Sprays
Spritz as often as desired to enhance a room or freshen linens and clothing. The aroma lasts several hours and lingers longest when sprayed directly onto fabric.
Wax Melts
Place a cube in your wax warmer and allow it to melt fully to release the fragrance. Let the wax cool and solidify before removing or replacing it.
Car Diffusers
Remove the wooden lid, pull out the white stopper, and attach the metal clip around the threaded top of the bottle. Replace the wooden lid, insert the reed sticks into the holes on the lid, and clip the diffuser onto a vent in your car.
Bath Bombs
Drop one bath bomb into warm bath water and let it fizz fully before getting in.
General Care
Across every format, keep products away from children and pets, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, and away from finished surfaces that could be affected by oil or fragrance residue.
